11.15.08 This Years SEMA show had a big Lexus turnout and FIGS was there to show our support. Nate Davis' Clean JDM IS300 was representing at the Enkei Wheels booth. Nates car featured FIGS MEGA Arms, CNC Battery Bar, Foot plates for both driver and passenger all in a brushed finish as well as an OEM hood prop kit. Nate's gallery is available here.

10.10.08 FIGS announces ISF devlopment. We have taken delivery of a 2008 starfire pearl ISF for R and D. Look for the following products to be developed:

Carbon Fiber Engine Cover
Stainless Steel Hood Support (release soon)
High Flow dual Intake
High Flow exhaust system
Replacement rear exhaust diffuser tips

The ISF is a monster in stock form but we plan on improving where we can. We have taken baseline dynos at two independant facilities to provide gain information to out customers. Dyno1 and Dyno2

7.12.08 NEW PRODUCT RELEASE: CNC Driver's foot plate. These foot plates are another customer driven product requested by owners with foot mat wear issues around the gas pedal. Machined from 6061 aluminum plate, these attrative plates are anodized your choice of black or clear and offer great traction around the gas pedal. The plates mount with 4 flat head socket cap hex screws and backed with 4 T-nuts for a positive mounting and retention under demanding driving conditions. The race inspired dead zone around the FIGS "F" logo allows easy transition from the gas pedal to the brake.

2.28.08 FIGS is very please to announce the release of our MEGA Rear Control Arms. These are production parts and there are just 15 sets available. The MEGA Arms project has been a 1 year, 2 month, 25,000 mile test adventure. I think we have come up with a highly engineered part to correct camber in the IS300 rear suspension as well as add an amazing set of features. Most of all, we have priced them at an unbelievable price point for a product of this type, with entry level pricing at just $350 a set. That's $350 for a MIG welded, dimpled, machined end fitting part complete with spherical rod ends from Aurora Bearing with PTFE lining and alloy races and shafts.

1.4.08 We would like to thank our customers in 2007 for another great year for FIGS. 2008 should be nothing but better as we have expanded our prototype capabilities with a Sharp Knee Mill and the addition of a Miller 212 MIG Welder with aluminum spoolgun capabilities. The addition of these tools will help get proto work done more quickly and more new products developed faster.

FIGS BATTERY BAR

Battery Bar for Flat top Dry Cell Batteries. These CNC pieces are manufactured from Solid Billet 6061 Aluminum that is then hardcoat anodized to resist corrosion as well as make the parts non-conductive to avoid shorting between terminals. Featuring the FIGS logo and ready to install in minutes. These will not fit stock batteries as they are designed for the flat narrow profile of Dry or Gel Cell batteries.

In addition, the FIGS Rear MEGA Arms are on order for the first production sets of 30. Two versions will be first production. Static adjustment and OVAS(ON-Vehicle Adjustment System). Both will be dimpled and production level. Due to arrive in Mid January '08

10.1.07 4 Months and no update, what are you doing FIGS? Well the usual R&D and busy in the shop and making great just a little better. We are pleased to release our Gen 2 (G2) IS300 HOOD SUPPORT KIT: Nothing major, but we looked back at what we saw to be the hardest part of the install and decided to make some improvements to the lower brackets. The new brackets are designed so that alignment is not as critical and also just a little easier with the help of some tabs to hold it in place.

Also noteworthy is the release of a little side project for the Honda Ridgeline. This kit was driven by a past IS owner that traded in for and RL and was looking for the same great functionality. Honda Ridgeline kits are described here and available now at intro pricing.

6.17.07 Its been a busy few months again. The first components are on order for the next rev of the MEGA arms which should be production ready. Final models are posted in the suspension page. Also newly released products:
